Courage, Confidence and Character

Success is a journey, not a destination and the Girl Scouts of Lac Baie Council recently took a journey which inspired courage and propelled the girls into a confidence that will ensure success throughout their lifetime.

On the obstacle course, their climb enabled the girls to conquer their fear of heights, trust their teammates, and work together to build character.

When the girls became more aware of their own actions and beliefs, they began evolving as an effective team.  They worked together and encouraged each other to become successful in order to conquer their fear and make the climb!

A team builds trust that empowers all members and takes excellence to another level.  The girls worked together as an effective unit rather than alone.  They learned that their success hinged on being a part of an effective team.

They were able to strategize, search for a solution, find themselves along the way, and conquer their fears.  This is when learning becomes life.  The skills that the girls walked away with will last more than a lifetime. 

Girls Scouts build character through confidence that will enable them to become successful young women in our community.
