Communications Administrative Assistant – Wisconsin Rapids, WI
- Experience/Qualifications: Applicants need above average skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 2007 including creation of documents. Excellent written and verbal communications skills – particularly in proofing/editing. Accurate, organized and detail-oriented, with ability to work under pressure and shift priorities in response to changing needs. Excellent time and project management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience answering phone lines. Retail experience helpful. May need to lift items up to 25 pounds infrequently.
- Duties and Responsibilities of Job: Provide clerical support to the Brand and Marketing Department including filing, copying, collating, mailing, emailing. Draft, proof and/or edit Council communications. Create and manage databases and/or Excel spreadsheets. Project management including oversight/negotiations of external print jobs and quotes and distribution and tracking of communications messages. Backing up phone lines and providing customer service in Council shop.
- Education: High school diploma required
- Hours: 28.5 hours/week - weekdays
- Pay: $12.50 to $12.70/hour
Fund Development Specialist – Marquette, MI
- Experience/Qualifications: Applicants need above average skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 2007 including the ability to create documents and perform mail merges. Experience creating and maintaining databases and producing reports. Excellent customer service via phone, in-person and email. Event coordination and public speaking/presentation skills. Knowledge and experience in market analysis. Proven one-on-one relationship building. Excellent time management skills and ability to take initiative to solve problems. Can work both independently and as part of a team. Accurate, organized and detail-oriented, with ability to work under pressure and shift priorities in response to changing needs. At least two years of experience in Fund Development desired. Experience with DonorPerfect desired. Retail experience helpful.
- Duties and Responsibilities of Job: Create and send reports and correspondence. Perform clerical duties including copying, collating, mailing, emailing and maintaining paper and electronic files. Create and manage databases and/or Excel spreadsheets. Coordinate and execute fundraising activities and receipt fees. Market analysis of local fundraising trends impacting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Connect with community and members including: making calls, scheduling appointments, completing donor visits and handling inquiries. Backing up phone lines and providing customer service in Council shop.
- Education: Two-year degree required or relevant experience
- Hours: 20 – 25 hours/week
- Pay: $13 to $16/hour
Receptionist/Shop Administrative Assistant – Schofield, WI
- Experience/Qualifications: Applicants need experience with Office 2007, to be able to occasionally lift 40 pounds, the ability to multi-task and work independently. Knowledge of Girl Scouting is preferred.
- Duties and Responsibilities of Job: Looking for someone with retail experience that is organized, detail-oriented, friendly and wants to provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include: answering phones; maintaining Council shop inventory and records; assisting with installation of merchandise displays for shop windows and sale areas; providing customer service via phone, mail orders and in the retail space; contact with volunteers and community members through making calls, scheduling appointments and handling inquiries and complaints; assisting with check out of library and troop items; performing general office duties such as word processing, data entry, filing, copying, collating and mailing.
- Education: High School diploma required
- Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday with a one hour lunch
- Pay: $24,700/year plus benefits (health/vision, dental, and others)
Product Program Administrative Assistant – Appleton, WI
- Experience/Qualifications: Requirements include above average skills in Office 2007 including PowerPoint, database management, excellent customer service skills via phone and in person, ability to multi-task and shift priorities in response to changing needs, proven time management strategies, ability to take initiative to solve problems, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired qualities include public speaking abilities and marketing/sales knowledge.
- Duties and Responsibilities of Job: Looking for someone with excellent customer service skills to provide clerical, administrative and project support to the Product Program Department. This department runs the Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program as well as the Fall Product Program (nuts, candy, magazines). Responsibilities include: performing general office duties such as word processing, data entry, filing, copying, collating, mailing; overseeing department databases and records and providing reports as needed; assisting with tracking and training; contacting community members and volunteers including making calls, scheduling appointments, conducting trainings and handling inquires and complaints; work with the collection of funds; work on special projects including public speaking.
- Education: High School diploma required, two-year degree preferred
- Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday with a one hour lunch
- Pay: $24,700/year plus benefits (health/vision, dental, and others)
