The following horse stables have been approved for GSNWGL troop and member use. Please note that this list will continue to be updated as additional stables are approved. If you would like to suggest a stable for GSNWGL staff to contact for possible approval, please send stable contact information to the Program Department or call the nearest Service Center and ask for extension 3367.

Benson's Whispering Pines

Nice indoor facility with heated community room.
One hour private lessons scheduled on an individual basis. All students learn to lead, groom, saddle, and bridle their own horse. Students will be started on a lounge line in an English saddle. Semi-private or small group lessons are available for intermediate and advanced riders.

Jeremiah's Crossing

Jeremiah’s Crossing is a ranch in Central Wisconsin dedicated to helping horses help kids by providing therapeutic horseback riding lessons and equine assisted activities lessons. The ranch sits on a 138-acre site located just outside of Babcock, WI.
Jeremiah’s Crossing is a work in progress, surrounded by woods and wildlife, where children with special needs, and those who are children at heart, are encouraged to participate in Equine Assisted Activities.
This facility is strictly open to children with special needs.

Trail rides with 10 or more riders $20.00 each.
Evening trail rides available from 5pm - 7pm every night by APPOINTMENT ONLY!
Introducing a 3 day CAMP Experience: Spend 10 or more hours with horses including 2 trail rides, a 1 hour evening trail ride, and an early 1 1/2 early morning ride. You’ll learn about grooming, watering, feeding and saddling up your horse. On your down time you can enjoy hiking trails, beaches, a fire tower, slippery rock and much more. Cost is $120.00 per person… CAMPING INCLUDED so bring your tents and food, cooking over campfire. Call about family rates for camping.

Horsin Around Program:
Approximately two hours, the horse badge focuses on safety, building confidence, and cultivating respect for horses. Students participate in an interactive demonstration.

Horse Rider Program:
Girls will engage in 8 activities from 5-6 hours depending on the number of participants. This event would make a great day camp for the girls. There will be a Lunch break, Please bring own lunch
Call for details Cost is $60.00 per girl
Horse Clinics: Enjoy 1-2 hours. Prices range from $15.00 to $30.00 per scout. Call for details
Book your troop event for 2012/2013 and receive a $20.00 discount. Must call to schedule between 11/19/12 through 12/10/12 and have at least 10 girls participating to receive the discount.
