The following horse stables have been approved for GSNWGL troop and member use. Please note that this list will continue to be updated as additional stables are approved. If you would like to suggest a stable for GSNWGL staff to contact for possible approval, please send stable contact information to the Program Department or call the nearest Service Center and ask for extension 3367.

Blue Haven Stables

Kinni Valley Academy

Trinity Equestrian Center

This program is for horse lovers! Riders will learn to be safe around horses, how to groom, tack, lead and ride! Dynamic stationed horse activities are planned for large groups. All children wear helmets, long pants and closed toe shoes.

Triple H Stables

Our 300 acre angus/crop farm comes alive with many different activities. We will custom tailor a program to fit your group’s needs. We offer horseback riding on our scenic wooded trails ($22/first hour) or they can be used for hiking. One trail is lined with natural springs and the start of a trout stream.

Stay in the bunk house for as little as $10/person/night or pitch a tent for a moderate price to help cover costs of shower and restrooms. We offer three-hour sessions to earn horse badges, which includes a trail ride,for $45/ person.

Our guests are welcome to enjoy the playground, petting zoo, volleyball, horseshoes, fire pits, and more at no additional charge. Plenty of history can be found on site including a working windmill, and original Dallas train depot. Besides personnel to teach all levels of horse badges, we have staff that are qualified to instruct first aid, foods, fibers, farming, ecology, wildlife, outdoor cooking, and creative solutions.

Upper Peninsula Equestrian Center

Horseback riding lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. Summer day camp programs, customized to meet the needs of your group, are also available. Programs may focus on horse care, feeding and grooming, horse psychology, ground work, how to select the right horse, tack and equipment, and more.

Wilderness Pursuit Adventure
