Ways to Invest in Girls

It is impossible to look toward the future without seeing how all            success hinges on harnessing the enormous power of women and girls. We’ve learned that when societies invest in girls, they thrive, and with good reason! Research shows investment in girls and women strengthens economies, benefits families, advances equality, increases productivity and improves the overall health of society. The time to invest in her is here and there is no better organization to responsibly steward your financial support than the world’s premier leadership organization for girls.

Since 1912 the Girl Scout organization has been teaching girls the skills necessary to confidently navigate spaces traditionally reserved for men and boys, changing the landscape of leadership wherever they go. Forget fitting into glass slippers, it’s all about smashing glass ceilings and our unique leadership development programing delivered in a single-gender environment delivers new experiences through supported risk taking.

The Future is Here and Her success depends on you!

Matching Gifts and Volunteer Grants

Employer matching is one of the easiest ways to increase your contribution and maximize your charitable giving! Email development@gsnwgl.org for help finding if your employer offers volunteer grants or matches donations!

Financial Assistance for Girls/Family Partnership

As a family member of a Girl Scout, you know what Girl Scouting has meant to your girl.  You have seen her make friends, you have seen her try new things and you have seen her confidence blossom!  Your donation to our Family Partnership Campaign goes directly to our financial assistance program, which covers the cost of camp sessions, event, and all the expenses of joining a troop. Our Council does not turn away any girl who wishes to be a Girl Scout and generous support from families like yours help make that possible.

Support Camp and Outdoor Experience

Are you passionate about sending a G.I.R.L to camp? While we work to keep camp affordable, there are girls whose financial situation is such that it is not possible. Help girls learn about this amazing world we live in, make life-long friends, and build their confidence while they try new things at camp with your gift to the Campership Fund.

Do you love your local Girl Scout camp property? Help us make improvements to camp properties so that we can serve more girls and make even more memorable experiences for those who attend your local camp.

Do you simply believe that camp and the outdoors are for every girl?
