A Letter From the Camp Director
Camp Winnecomac, Camp Nawakwa, and Camp Sacajawea
Are you ready for an amazing camp adventure but not ready to spend a full week away from home? It’s time to go to day camp! Make friends, try something new, and go on an adventure – all at one amazing camp! Whether you want to shoot archery, conquer the low ropes course, or make lunch for your friends, our day camp experiences have it all. Camp Winnecomac is tucked away in the woods adjacent to a nature preserve in Kaukauna, WI.
Our day camps run each summer for girls in grades K-7. The programs span 1-5 days in length (Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.). Day camp options are available at Camp Nawakwa (Cornell, Wisconsin) and Camp Sacajawea (Wisconsin Rapids, Wiscosnin) too!
The Camp Guide and camp registration will be available in early 2018.
Hanging out at camp is my favorite way to spend the summer. My Girl Scout camp experiences have taken me from backpacking in the Teton Mountains at Girl Scout National Center West to Savannah, GA and canoeing and kayaking many lakes and rivers in Michigan and Wisconsin. I’ve been working at Girl Scout camp for over 30 years and truly believe in the impact it will make in a child’s life. Every girl who comes to Camp Winnecomac will feel at home among the trees and with our camp staff who have the passion to work with the girls to discover a life in the wilderness. Can’t wait to see YOU at camp this summer!
