Girl Scouting

Ride a horse, climb a rock wall, defy peer pressure, design a robot, write a poem, clean up a neighborhood park, sleep with the sharks, defy conformity, job-shadow a successful businesswoman, meet your Girl Scout Cookie program goals, make a friend, challenge your mind, defy the stereotype, expand your world view, improve your community, defy the ordinary…

Girl Scouting is all this and so much more. It’s a Girl’s Life…Lead it!

Girl Scouts is the nation’s premier organization serving all girls in Kindergarten through high school! Our program provides you with opportunities to:

  • Discover new things about yourself and your surroundings:
  • Who are you today; who do you want to become?
  • Connect to family, friends and your community:
  • How have the people shaped who you are? How have you shaped
         them?

  • Take Action to make the world a better place:
  • How will you impact your community, your country, the world?

In a unique girl-only environment, Girl Scouts build courage, confidence and character all while having fun. There are many ways a girl can participate in Girl Scouts – we have a program that’s just right for you!

Watch for more information coming soon!

WHAT IS GIRL SCOUTING?

About the Girl Scout Program
The Girl Scout program is based on the needs and interests of girls. All members:

  • Share the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
  • Pay national dues of $10.00.
  • Follow safety guidelines.

Girl Scout Promise and Law
The Girl Scout Promise and Law are shared by every member of Girl Scouting. The Girl Scout Promise is the way Girl Scouts agree to act every day toward one another and other people, and the Law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world.

How to Join
Joining Girls Scouts is simple. Contact us at 888.747.6945 to find the troop or group nearest you. Click here for an application.

The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

* The word "God" can be interpreted in a number of ways, depending on one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Girl Scout Promise, it is okay to replace the word "God" with whatever word your spiritual beliefs dictate.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
