Our LRPP Committee members have now hosted 8 of the 11 Stakeholder Forums, to share what we've learned and to gather your feedback.

Here's are some participant comments we've heard so far:

"This was SO informative and exciting, I wish more people had come!" (from 2 different sites)

"The vision is lofty – and very cool! Now we really have something to look forward to."

"I like that programs would be regional and not ‘cookie cutter'."

"I wasn't aware this is where the GS's were going. You're really keeping up with the times!"

"It's easy for a volunteer to do programming for K-5, we need the council and community collaborations for 6-12"

"Transportation to locations is key- it's hard for volunteers to transport a troop in cars. Kids need booster seats, etc."

"We should make things on our properties that are SO fun that girls want to use their cookie money to come to camp instead of going to the Dells or other commercial places!"

"We have a lot of competition - even other camps."

"We need to remember that it isn't that Nawakwa is ‘our' camp. They are all our camps!"

"We should split our resources between fewer ‘buckets' so we can have fewer, but premier facilities."

"We should rent/lease more & keep dollars out of capital so we can spend more on programming staff"

"We need to plan and build for the girls of the future."

"There is a lot of excitement in this plan for all of us!"

"These are decisions that will affect many generations."
