March 12 - Girl Scout Birthday & Girl Scout Week: Food Drive
In honor of Girl Scout Birthday, March 12, and Girl Scout Week, give a gift that feeds. Food Banks, pantries and programs like “Meals on Wheels” are continually dependent on donations to support their program participants. These organizations across the Council are always in need of shelf-stable, non-perishable food items to distribute in the community. Food Banks collect and distribute food to agency food pantries, and non-profit organizations who work with the needy in our communities. Food Banks will be able to assist you in finding a local pantry to support, contact your local social service agency to find the nearest program to support, or click here to search for a food bank by Zip code.
