Long Range Property Plan Updates for October

This is a very exciting time to be involved in Girl Scouting. The Master Plans were adopted by our Board of Directors on September 26, 2012. The Master Plans will provide direction for future development of the Council’s outdoor program facilities. Development is contingent upon the availability of funding for both construction and maintenance of proposed improvements and development. Improvements and development will be phased to allow for monitoring of memberships response to changes. The membership’s response to the improvements and development will provide further guidance for ongoing Master Plan implementation. It is our plan to begin some development as soon as next year. The Adhoc property committee has been working with staff to develop a list of projects for next year. Once the list is finalized we can begin sharing what this development will be. Thanks for being a part of this process!
