CAMP CUESTA |
Lots of woodland and an open field for fun and games highlight Camp Cuesta (CC)! There is a heated Troop House, tent cabins, and some tent sites available to rent. A screened pavilion is also available for use. In the winter, cross country skis
are available to use. CC is located near Kangaroo Lake and is not far from Bailey’s Harbor.
Accommodations & Reservations
Girl Scout troops, Service Areas and other Girl Scout groups are welcome and encouraged to utilize all of the fantastic GSNWGL properties. See Section F of The Source for details and guidelines. Door County Troop Camping
Grades: All (Please follow the Safety-Wise
adult/girl ratios as no staff will be present)
Dates: June–August
Cost: Troop House–$40/night;
Tent Cabin Unit–$30/night
Do you enjoy hiking, biking, canoeing and kayaking? Maybe shopping and local art galleries are more your style – or perhaps relaxing and swimming? Wherever your interests lie, Door County, WI, is an amazing place to spend time with your troop. With Camp Cuesta as your base, you can investigate all the peninsula has to offer. You’re in charge of your camp experience! From state parks and arts n’ crafts to outdoor sports, there’s something for everyone.

Outdoors and S’mores
Grades: 1-4
Dates: June 25–27
Cost: $55
Get outdoors and explore! Go for a theme hike, tie knots, learn how to read a compass and pitch a tent. Then build a campfire to cook your own lunch and make delicious s’mores. |
