Girl Scouting is for every girl, everywhere. However, to achieve this goal requires significant human and financial resources. Your gift to the Take Action Campaign is a gift for girls - for today’s girls to realize their dreams and become tomorrow’s leaders. Take Action Campaign dollars will be used to fund the most pressing needs of our girls, ensuring that our council maintains the highest standards of program development, property maintenance, volunteer support and development.

Individual Foundation and Corporate Gifts

Direct contributions, a traditional and important support for Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, provide the foundation for services and programs to nearly 20,000 girls and over 6,000 adult volunteers. We rely on generous financial gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations to keep the costs of Girl Scouting from being prohibitive; that way all girls can be involved and have the opportunity to learn leadership and life skills that will help them achieve their goals. Regular annual gifts from individuals are an essential element in funding Girl Scouting. Your gift provides unrestricted dollars which can be used to meet priority needs. All contributions are tax deductible and will be acknowledged.
