Long Range Property Planning Decisions

In March 2010, Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes’ Board of Directors established a volunteer-led property task group. The group was charged with creating a long-range recommendation and plan for camp/program properties and service centers that would best meet the needs of girls and volunteers, today and well into the future.

Long Range Property Plan Updates - March 25th

The LRPP Study originated to ensure that we develop and operate facilities that support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience within our council's ability to fund and maintain them. We began by learning everything we could about our current situation: our members' wants and needs, the wants and needs of the girls we're NOT yet serving, the competition that exists for our customers' time and resources, what barriers to participation are perceived by families, etc.

Long Range Property Plan Final Survey Results

GSNWGL is conducting a Long Range Property Planning study to ensure that we are delivering the programs and services that nearly 20,000 girls and over 6,000 volunteers need and want across 58 counties. As part of this analysis, we have gathered the feedback of 1700+ girls and adults. We have compiled those survey results and they are now available!
