Camp Winnecomac

Camp Winnecomac is our beautiful 40-acre day camp in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Winnecomac back up to 1000 Islands Nature Preserve with a creek and hiking trails nearby.

Camp Winnecomac is the perfect place to get your feet wet (sometimes literally) at camp before heading off to overnight sleep-away camp at Camp Birch Trails.

Girl-led, Girl Planned- In Girl Scouts, girls are the boss and that means they choose their own adventures. All campers will do all the awesome things her particular program offers. But each session also has tons of traditional, camp activities, games, songs, and more! We let the girls take the lead on choosing how to spend some of their time at camp!

Meet Our Camp Director

Sandra “Mystery” Weber,
Camp Director

Hello! My name is Mystery, and this will be my 15th summer working at camp! I am so excited to be at Camp Winnecomac and help campers get started on their camp adventures. I enjoy archery, outdoor cooking, and sleeping under the stars. But the absolute best part about going to camp each summer is getting to watch campers make new friends and grow their inner strength. It helped shape me into the person I am today, and I want our campers to experience the same magic of the outdoors! See you at camp!

Where will my camper stay while they are at camp?

During the day, campers will be assigned to unit shelters: Robin, Cardinal, Blue Jay, Goldfinch, or one of our Yurts.

What if my camper is staying overnight?

There are several overnight accommodations for our camp programs that stay overnight.

Eagles Lodge –This is where our Kindergarten through 3rd grade sleeps, except for our weeklong Adventure Seeker program. It is a building with bunk beds, bathrooms, and electricity.

Yurts – Our weeklong Adventure Seeker programs and 4th and 5th graders sleep here. Yurts are a round, cabin-like structure with bunk beds and electricity, near the shower house and running water. Each Yurt has 4 bunk beds for 8 campers.

Tents and Tent Cabs - Our older girl programs and Outdoor Expert stay in either tent or a tent cab. A tent cab is a cross between a platform tent and cabin. They have a roof and canvas walls. Both tents and tent cabs are located near the shower house.
