Girl Scout Week — Three Ways to Celebrate
Girl Scouts’ birthday, March 12, commemorates the day in 1912 when Juliette Gordon Low officially registered the organization’s first 18 members in Savannah, Georgia. Girl Scout Week is celebrated each March, starting with Girl Scout Sunday and ending with Girl Scout Sabbath on a Saturday, and it always includes Girl Scouts’ birthday, March 12.
In 2023, Girl Scout week will be celebrated March 12-18. Join us each day as we celebrate our worldwide sisterhood.
Here are the dates for the faith-based days during Girl Scout Week 2023:
- Girl Scout Sunday: Sunday, March 12
- Girl Scout Jummah: Friday, March 17
- Girl Scout Sabbath/Shabbat: Friday, March 17 – Saturday, March 18
