Over the course of a weekend, Trout Unlimited volunteers will teach you how to observe a stream, collect flow data, sample macroinvertebrates (aka aquatic bugs), and you'll get to make your own flys and try fly casting. And each night, after you explore the world of streams and fly fishing, we'll have some traditional camp fun with campfires, songs, s'mores, and games!
Registered Girl Scout adult volunteers will need to register and accompany their girl/troop.
Program fee includes all meals, program materials, overnight accommodations, and a STREAM Girls patch. This program is sponsored by Trout Unlimited and the Eau Claire Community Foundation.
This program will be held at Beaver Creek Reserve in Fall Creek, WI.
