GSNWGL’S Adventure Bound Crew is open to registered Girl Scouts in middle school and high school. We welcome their travel-minded caregivers, too! Our goal is to build traveler confidence, cultural awareness, and global connections through incredible domestic and international travel experiences. These opportunities are for Girl Scouts to explore the world and learn more about their place in it. To learn more or enroll in any of our upcoming tours, click the title of the tour below.
June 2025 - London and Paris and July 2025 - London and Paris
From Big Ben to the famed Eiffel Tower, a trip to London and Paris will never disappoint. Girls will discover two of Europe’s most popular cities. Marvel at the Arc de Triomphe, experience the luxury of Versailles, and pose for a group photo in Trafalgar Square. We'll also make a special visit to Pax Lodge, a WAGGGS World Centre, in Hampstead, where you will participate in unique Girl Scout programming.
June 2026 - Service Learning in Costa Rica
In order to protect their home, community members of Palo Seco must continue to reforest mangrove trees to keep their coastline stable. This tour offers Girl Scouts a firsthand learning experience into stabilizing ecosystems through the efforts of community farming. We'll also discover the biodiversity of this beautiful country from every angle with visits to hot springs, the La Fortuna Waterfall, and a national park. And of course, a trip to Costa Rica wouldn't be complete without a ziplining adventure!
June 2027 - Belize
A tropical paradise with miles of shimmering blue Caribbean coastline and lush jungle canopies, Belize is bursting with diverse wildlife and a sense of adventure. See native jungle animals up close on multiple nature hikes, whiz through the treetops on a zipline, and snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. Ancient ruins, cave tubing, and a riverboat cruise ensure this will be an adventure your girls will never forget.

Past Travel Stories
Italy/Austria/Germany 2024 Recap
Twenty-two travelers experienced three countries over the course of nine days on an epic European adventure!
We started in Italy and visited Rome, Pisa, Florence, and Verona. We got to see the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and Juliet's balcony from Romeo and Juliet. We also visited Vatican City, the world's smallest country.
Then we traveled north to Austria and stayed overnight in the Alps in Innsbruck. We visited a castle and enjoyed breathing in the fresh mountain air.
The last leg of our trip took us to Germany where we had two days in Munich. We indulged in all the foods, music, and shopping unique to the area. We also visited Dachau, which was an incredibly poignant experience that moved us all.
Throughout all of the 575 miles we traveled in Europe, we learned about the culture and history of the cities we passed through. And we got to experience it together - as Girl Scout travelers!
Panama 2022 Recap
In the fall of 2018, we held our first recruitment meeting for our Panamá Council trip. Fast forward over two postponed and rescheduled trips, Covid contingency plans, cancelations, and so many Zoom meetings…here we are in 2022 and our trip FINALLY happened!
This trip was truly the experience of a lifetime for the 18 of us on tour. Many of our girls had never flow internationally before, had never been to a place where English is not the main language spoken, and hadn’t been on a long trip without their family. The amount of growth we saw in eight short days was so inspirational. We all arrived mostly as strangers but left as family – including some important friends we met along the way in Panamá!
Our goal of this tour was to expose girls to the history of Panamá, experience the biodiversity of the country, and truly immerse ourselves in the culture to learn how to become travelers and not tourists. And I’m happy to say we successfully completed all these goals and more!
Our location offered us urban and rural adventures – this was taken in Panamá City near the Panamá Viejo ruins.
