Scholarships
Our Council has two different scholarship opportunities:
Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes Scholarship
Each of Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes (GSNWGL) five regions will have $1000 in scholarship funds available. This can be awarded as one $1000 scholarship or two $500 scholarships at the discretion of each region’s scholarship committee.
Richard J. Leonard College Scholarship
If you have earned the Gold Award and reside in our Central or Appleton regions (served out of the Wausau or Appleton Service Centers) you will also be considered for the Richard J. Leonard Scholarship. This is a one-year, $200 scholarship, given to an exemplary twelfth-grade Girl Scout residing in these areas who has earned the Gold Award. All eligible applicants will be considered, no additional application is necessary.
