Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes Scholarship
Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes (GSNWGL) funds $1000 in scholarships for each of our council's five regions. At the discretion of each region’s scholarship committee, one $1000 scholarship or two $500 scholarships can be awarded.
Richard J. Leonard College Scholarship
If you have earned the Gold Award and reside in our Central or Appleton regions, you will also be considered for the Richard J. Leonard Scholarship. This is a one-year, $200 scholarship given to an exemplary twelfth-grade Girl Scout residing in these areas who has earned the Gold Award. All eligible applicants will be considered. No additional application is necessary.
NEW: Shafto-Carlson Academic Bridging Scholarship
The Shafto-Carlson scholarship celebrates Girl Scouts making a difference in mental health—whether by overcoming personal challenges, championing mental health issues in the community, or pursuing a future career in the field. Five active Girl Scouts, one from each of our council’s regions, will each receive $500 to support their dreams. All eligible applicants will be considered. No additional application is necessary.
