1912 Club

Juliette Gordon Low (1860–1927), also affectionately known by her nickname “Daisy,” founded Girl Scouts of the USA in 1912. She imagined a movement where all girls could come together and embrace their unique strengths and passions—and as Girl Scouts has done since, she made that dream a reality.
Girl Scouts today still share plenty of similarities with the very first Girl Scout troop in 1912: they connect with their communities, get outdoors, challenge themselves, and find ways to make the world a better place.
When you join the GSNWGL 1912 Club, you make a lasting impact on Girl
Scouts! With a monthly recurring donation of just $19.12, you can

the world a better place. Together, let's continue the legacy of Girl
Scouts and create positive change in our communities.

JOIN TODAY!"I am proud to be a part of the 1912 Club for a few reasons. First, my journey in Girl Scouts didn’t follow the traditional path. Most start young and are engaged in troop activities; however, that wasn’t an option for me. With no troops around, I decided to forge my own path and become a Juliette. As a Juliette, I can proudly say I completed both my Silver and Gold Awards, participated in the 2017 National Convention, represented my council as a delegate in the 2020 National Convention, earned numerous badges and awards, and became a mentor to younger Girl Scouts in my community. I am proud to highlight my unique accomplishments and encourage others to provide those opportunities for the next generation of Girl Scouts."
