Step into the exciting world of biomedical engineering, where engineers design technology used to help people live healthier, stronger lives! At this event, Girl Scouts will learn about how prosthetic devices are designed and have the opportunity to build and test a prosthetic device of their own. They will also get the chance to use a high-tech microscope to look closely at different materials and see firsthand how biomedical engineers study small structures to improve medical tools and treatments.

This event will also include exciting lab tours and a pizza lunch.
