Girl Scouts is partnering with the Chippewa Valley Technical College on an exciting, adrenaline-packed adventure called Hero Academy! Girl Scouts will get a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to work in firefighting, police services, and emergency medical services professions. They'll also get to complete some of the same training exercises that the professionals go through, including saving someone from the firefighter's maze, pulling a 180-pound mannequin to safety, and interacting with the real-life training mannequins to learn how EMS personnel administer emergency care. Learn from females in the field who are paving the way in their professions and experience a day in the life of our hometown heroes! This program takes place in Eau Claire, WI and costs $15 per participant.
