Ever wonder how robots can be used to explore the ocean? Or how waves
can generate enough electricity to light up a community? At this
event, you'll take on two exciting challenges: first, design and test
your own mini underwater robot to complete a special mission, and then
build a mini wave energy converter to see how ocean motion can light
up an LED. With creativity, teamwork, and lots of hands-on fun, you'll
discover the power of water through both robotics and renewable
energy!
This event will also include exciting lab tours
and lunch. Participants will complete components of the Robotics
Badges for their Girl Scout level.
