Discover how science, technology, engineering, and math come to life in the world of agriculture! In this hands-on program designed for Juniors and Cadettes, participants will rotate through three exciting activity stations that highlight real-world STEM careers.

  • Food Science Experiment: Put on your lab coat and become a food scientist! Through a fun baking experiment, girls will explore the science behind ingredients and learn how food scientists create the delicious, safe, and nutritious foods we eat every day.
  • Engineering Challenge: Grab your tools and your creativity to design and build a model corn cultivator. This station introduces careers in engineering and building trades while encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation.
  • Women in Agriculture Career Fair: Meet inspiring women working in all areas of agriculture-from research to agribusiness and environmental stewardship. Girls will have the chance to ask questions, explore different career paths, and see how their STEM interests can shape the future of farming.

By the end of the day, participants will earn and receive their STEM Career Exploration Badge. They'll also have a deeper understanding of the many ways STEM powers modern agriculture-and how they can be part of feeding the world of tomorrow.
