Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes is delighted to welcome
Helen Wronski as our interim Chief Executive Officer. Helen is an
experienced leader who brings a broad range of skills acquired through
her leadership positions in the Girl Scout organization. She was the
president and CEO of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey and has
previously held interim positions at Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida,
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada, Girl Scouts of Desert Southwest, and
most recently GSUSA-Girl Scouts Overseas. “After traveling the world
with Girl Scouts, it’s great to be assigned back home to the Midwest”
stated Ms. Wronski.
Helen is looking forward to
working with our dedicated staff, volunteers and donors to support our
mission to create girls of courage, confidence, and character who make
the world a better place. Knowing that the Girl Scout program and
mission is crucial in times like this, GSNWGL is not skipping a beat.
They’re making sure every Girl Scout is empowered to learn and lead
with the confidence and persistence to take on new challenges.
“We are fortunate that Girl Scouts of the USA has a network of
interim CEO’s to provide strategic support and assistance to Girl
Scout Councils as we seek a permanent replacement. We are looking
forward to Ms. Wronski’s insight and expertise as we continue our
search,” says Patrice Pergolski, GSNWGL Board President.
