After careful consideration, we have decided to close our brick-and-mortar shops. This change reflects our commitment to evolving with our members and making sure we’re using our resources in the best possible way.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen a significant decrease in foot traffic to our physical shops. More and more of our customers are choosing the convenience of online shopping, where they can find a larger selection and take advantage of discounts that we, as a council, are unable to match. We understand that this shift can be frustrating, but it also gives us new opportunities to serve you better.
We’ve been listening to our Girl Scouts, families, and volunteers, and we know how important it is to have welcoming spaces for troops to meet, work on badges, and access program materials. That’s why we’re excited to announce the opening of our pilot Girl Scout Activity Zone at the Appleton Girl Scout Center in January 2025. This new space will be dedicated to creating opportunities for our Girl Scouts, troops, and families.
While our physical shops are closing, you can still get your Girl Scout gear in our online shop at girlscoutshop.com. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates on sales, shipping promotions, and more.
Our Appleton Girl Scout Shop hours will remain the same through September, with reduced hours beginning in October. Please check our website for the most up-to-date information on hours and potential closures. We have created a FAQ that we hope will address your questions.
Thank you for your continued dedication and understanding as we navigate this transition.
